Chilly
Corn Milk
½
cup well-cooked white hominy
½ cup lowfat buttermilk
dash chili powder
dash ginger
several fresh mint leaves
salt and pepper
½ cup shaved ice
How
to cook:
1.
Puree
all ingredients, including shaved ice, together in a blender for
about 1 minute, creating a fine, frothy liquid.
2. Pour
over ice in a tall glass and serve immediately.
Chili
Tomatoes Blend
3 tomatoes
1 red/green chili
250g carrot
½ cup lemonade
shaved ice
How to
cook:
1.
Boil
tomatoes until soft. Drain it and set aside.
2.
Remove
seeds from chili.
3.
Put
carrot, chili, boiled tomatoes, shaved ice into juice extractor.
Blend until smooth.
4.
Serve
immediately.
