Gala
Apple Smoothie
1 Gala apple, peeled, cored and chopped
1 frozen banana, peeled and chopped
½ cup orange juice
¼ cup nonfat milk
How to cook:
In a blender combine frozen
banana, orange juice, apple and milk. Blend until
smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.
Mango
Ginger Smoothie
2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
2 pieces ginger
1 cup nonfat buttermilk
1 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt
handful of chipped ice
How to cook:
In a blender, purée the fruit and ginger, scraping down the sides as
necessary. Add the buttermilk, yogurt and ice and purée until
smooth.
Banana
Cream Smoothie
1 banana
½ cup natural yogurt, non-fat
2 cups milk, low-fat
2 tsp pure vanilla essence
How to cook:
Slice banana and put into a
blender. Add ½ cup milk, yogurt and vanilla. Blend until
banana is blended. Add remaining milk and blend until smooth.
Pour into glasses.
